The 72-year-old pedestrian was struck and injured after a hit-and-run accident in College East on Tuesday evening.
The accident happened around 11:20 p.m. in the 6500 block of Montezuma Road.
The victim’s right forearm and the back of his head both sustained significant lacerations.
According to the local authorities, the vehicle involved was a 2003 BMW.
The vehicle’s owner parked it and took off on foot after it had been reported stolen.
