Police later reported that the woman had crashed into a house on Valley High Drive.
According to the fire department, a Pacific Gas & Electric Co. technician at the house repairing a gas meter was injured in the crash.
The victim was taken to the hospital but is likely to live.

It was unknown what criminal warrants the woman had or whether anybody else was in the house when the truck crashed.
Reckless Driving Accident Statistics
A variety of risky driving behaviors can cause car accidents. When drivers disregard stop signs or traffic signals, zigzag between lanes of traffic, tailgate other cars, or perform risky passing maneuvers, they act recklessly.
In sum, reckless driving occurs when a driver is wilfully negligent towards the safety of others on the road. Accidents are usually caused by careless drivers who put their convenience and plans over the well-being of others.
According to California’s Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS), 2021 witnessed the most Sacramento car accidents in at least a decade. TIMS totals only include accidents that resulted in injury or death. TIMS reported that approximately 5,500 individuals were injured in Sacramento crashes in 2021.
Every year, fatalities are a heartbreaking component of Sacramento’s collision statistics. According to TIMS statistics, death rates in accidents rose to high levels in 2021, following a drop in 2020.
Vehicle crashes have been steadily increasing since 2017, but the epidemic year of 2020 resulted in a drop in accident rates. Fewer people used Sacramento’s roadways for much of the year as quarantines took place, resulting in fewer impacts.
