[08-07-2022] Sacramento County, CA – Two Dead and Two Injured in Traffic Accident Near American River Parkway

According to authorities, two people were killed, and two others were injured in a traffic collision in Sacramento early on Sunday morning, August 07, 2022.

According to a press release from the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at approximately 12:48 a.m. in the vicinity of Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard.

The department claimed that when the fire crews arrived, they immediately pronounced a man and a woman in one of the vehicles died at the scene.

Two passengers in the second car were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

According to the department, detectives are still investigating what caused the crash.
