[08-11-2022] San Bernardino County, CA-1 killed, 2 Hospitalized in Two-vehicle Crash on US Highway 395 in VictorvilleAccording to authorities, one person was killed, and two others were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle traffic collision on US Highway 395 in Victorville on Thursday night, August 11, 2022.

According to witnesses, the incident happened on Thursday, at approximately 11:04 p.m., at the intersection of 395 and La Mesa Road, where a red Hyundai and a blue Infiniti were involved in the crash.

According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Huerta, vehicle 1 was traveling west on La Mesa Road, while vehicle 2 was traveling north on Highway 395. Vehicle 2 collided with vehicle 1, and the driver of vehicle 1 died at the scene.

The spokeswoman stated that she was unable to determine the type of vehicles involved based on the information provided in the call.

Vehicle 2’s driver and an occupant were taken to the hospital.

Highway 395 was closed between Luna Road and Bear Valley Road until at least 4:00 a.m. while the Major Accident Investigation Team investigated the scene and the vehicles were towed away.
