A 42-year-old man crossing Beach Boulevard was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident in Huntington Beach on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
The crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. just south of Ellis Avenue.
According to a news release from Huntington Beach Police, the 42-year-old victim who died was not in a crosswalk when he was struck.
The man was taken to a hospital, eventually succumbing to his injuries.
His identity has not been disclosed until a relative was informed.
According to police, the Black Toyota Camry that was in the collision was traveling north on Beach at the time.
The 42-year-old Hemet woman operating the vehicle was cooperative with the authorities.
The investigators believe neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
