According to the officials, one person was taken to the hospital after an eight-vehicle crash on the northbound I-15 Freeway in Hesperia on Friday, October 7, 2022.
The collision occurred at around 1:35 p.m., just after Ranchero Road, in the new bypass lane of the northbound I-15.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the traffic collision involving eight vehicles.
When rescue teams arrived on the scene, they discovered two of the eight severely damaged vehicles.
A single person was reportedly taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor wounds.
All the way down to Highway 138, there was a backup in traffic.
The California Highway Patrol Inland Office will be investigating the accident.
