One man was killed after he was struck by his own vehicle driven by a woman in Griffith Park on Saturday afternoon, October 8, 2022.

A light blue 2006 Lexus was the car reportedly used in the collision.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a woman got into her car and started driving after she and a man had a disagreement. This led to the collision.

According to the investigation, which was revealed by the police on Sunday, 70-year-old Valeriy S. lost his balance, fell, and was purposefully run over by his own car, which Sonia S., 32, was driving.

According to video footage given to local news, Saakyan was being treated by medical personnel in the middle of the street before being transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The hospital later declared Saakyan dead.
