A 33-year-old female suffered minor injuries after a bicycle crash involving a vehicle on Shattuck Avenue on Monday night, October 17, 2022.
The mishap happened around 8:40 p.m. According to police, the driver was also traveling north on Shattuck Avenue when he rear-ended the woman as she was riding her bicycle.
According to Berkeley police, she was waiting to make a left turn into oncoming southbound traffic when the collision occurred.
First responders discovered the female with minor injuries to her face and leg, according to the police.
Local authorities then took the woman to the hospital.
Witnesses at the scene posted a picture of a woman being helped by emergency personnel while sitting on the ground close to the establishment.
Berkeley police seek the driver who struck a bicyclist before fleeing the scene.
