According to Clovis police, a woman was run over and trapped under a car in Fresno on Saturday morning, October 22, 2022.
According to the police, the collision took place around 11:00 a.m. in the Sonic Drive-In parking lot at the Sunflower Marketplace shopping center on Shaw Avenue, close to Villa Avenue.
The pedestrian was still underneath the car in the parking lot when the officers arrived.
According to Lt. Jim Koch, fire and emergency medical services helped get the subject out from under the car when they arrived on the scene.
According to police, the driver made a turn in the parking lot without noticing the pedestrian.
The woman was critically injured when she was taken to the hospital. She is now recovering.
