According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision involving two trucks, a semi and a pickup pulling bales of hay on northbound Interstate 215 in Devore Heights Monday night, October 24, 2022.
As per San Bernardino County Fire Department, the collision transpired at about 11:20 p.m. on northbound Interstate 215 before Devore Road.
A pickup truck hauling around 45,000 pounds of hay was rear-ended by a black big rig tractor-trailer driver.
Hay was scattered across all lanes of traffic after the big rig tractor-trailer broke down in the slow lane. To help with the cleanup, CHP issued a Special Informational Bulletin (SIG) Alert.
One person needed transportation, but their injuries were not serious.
The Inland Office of the California Highway Patrol is still gathering information about the crash.
