Fatal Car Accident Statistics

There can be many factors that lead to a single-vehicle crash. Careless driving on a slippery road, such as increasing speed or making a sharp turn, can lead to a runaway car or an off-road collision. It’s possible that a large branch or some other truck cargo washed up on the side of the road. This could potentially exacerbate existing traffic problems.

Every year, many people in California are killed in single-car accidents. According to data compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, roughly 62% of fatal car accidents in the Golden State involve only one vehicle. California drivers must always be on the lookout for potential dangers on the road.

Your ability to recover damages may be severely limited by your insurance policy’s single-vehicle accident coverage plan, even if the other driver was at fault.
