A female cyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision in North Sacramento Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2022.
The police reported that the fatal crash occurred just after 4:36 p.m. close to the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex near Arcade Boulevard and Kenwood Street.
According to authorities, the bicyclist, who has only been identified as a woman, was declared dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the vehicle involved in the collision fled before first responders arrived. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle.
The authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
Further investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
