[11-12-2022] Hit-And-Run Collision Fatally Struck Motorcyclist in FallbrookA motorcyclist was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Fallbrook Saturday night, November 12, 2022.

Reports state that the fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. near the 4500 block of South Mission Road.

According to authorities, the 32-year-old Fallbrook resident was traveling north while riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was struck by a 33-year-old male driving a Toyota T-100 pickup truck westbound on La Canada Road when he pulled into the intersection.

The motorcycle was knocked onto South Mission Road, where it struck a gray Model S Tesla.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Tesla driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Meanwhile, the Toyota pickup’s driver immediately fled the scene of the collision after it occurred but was later arrested at his home on Sunday.
