[11-27-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Green Meadows

A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in south Los Angeles on Sunday evening, November 27, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at 10:22 p.m. at 89th Street and Central Avenue in the Green Meadows area.

The man, reportedly in his 40s to 50s, was walking west across Central Avenue when a vehicle traveling north struck him.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene, while the driver sped off after the collision.

No other details were released as the investigation continued.
