[12-01-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Mayor-Elect’s Daughter Injured After Hit-And-Run Crash in West Adams Area

A daughter of Los Angeles Mayor-elect Karen Bass was injured by a hit-and-run collision in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, December 1, 2022.

Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. near the Adams Boulevard and La Brea Avenue intersection.

A hit-and-run driver reportedly struck the victim’s car, forcing it into a yard near South La Brea Avenue and Ferndale Street intersection.

The victim was hospitalized for injuries she sustained in the crash but has already been released.

The SUV involved was reportedly abandoned by four men.

Meanwhile, no arrests were reported.

Investigations on the crash are ongoing.
