[12-16-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Cars Racing Led to Crash with Innocent Driver in Diamond Bar

A female driver was reportedly injured in a two-vehicle collision caused by a racing driver in Diamond Bar on Friday evening, December 16, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. at the Golden Springs Drive and Sunset Crossing Road intersection off the 57 Freeway.

CHP stated that two racing cars on the southbound 57 Freeway were directed to pull over before the collision. One of which left the freeway at Sunset Crossing while the other managed to collide with a vehicle that was not part of the pursuit.

The Ford Mustang that struck the innocent driver tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by CHP officers.

The female driver of the car was possibly injured, but it remains unclear whether she was transported to the hospital, despite an ambulance responding to the site.
