[12-16-2022] Six People Trapped and Injured After Car Crash with Semi-TruckSix people were injured after being trapped in a car crash involving a semi-truck in San Bernardino City on Friday midnight, December 16, 2022.

According to the San Bernardino City Police Department, the crash occurred around 11:59 p.m. at the I Street and Mill Street intersection.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the site and extricated six occupants trapped in a Dodge Charger that was wedged under a semi-truck.

All injured individuals were brought to two local hospitals in different conditions. No further updates on the extent of their injuries and their current condition were released.

The truck driver was reportedly unharmed and claimed that the sedan driver ran a red light, collided with the truck, and then jammed itself beneath it.

The San Bernardino City Police stayed at the site to continue their investigation into the cause of the collision.
