One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Moreno Valley on Friday afternoon, December 16, 2022.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the four-car crash transpired around 4:30 p.m. along Pigeon Pass Road, close to Hemlock Avenue and north of the 60 (Moreno Valley) Freeway.
The responders arrived at the site and found four vehicles were involved in a chain crash on the Pigeon Pass’s southbound lanes, which were closed by the firefighters while they evaluated the victims and prevented further damage in the wreckage among other drivers.
One victim sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported to Riverside University Medical Center for medical attention. The extent of the injuries is unclear as of yet, but other parties were reportedly not hospitalized.
Sheriff’s deputies were looking into what caused the collision.
