[08-22-2022] Los Angeles County, CA- 1 Killed, 1 Injured After a Two-Vehicle Collision in the Palmdale

According to the California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle collision in Palmdale killed one person and injured another on Monday, August 22, 2022.

According to the CHP, the crash happened around 1:20 p.m. in the 23000 block of East Avenue O, near Sierra Highway.

Following the collision, one person was trapped inside their vehicle but was rescued by Los Angeles County Fire Department units and taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

Paramedics discovered another victim dead at the scene.

The name of the deceased was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the collision was under investigation.
