According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than two-thirds of American workers sustained workplace injuries in November 2020. Since 2018, this number has remained constant.

Workers’ compensation claims have decreased, but the number of workplace fatalities has not diminished: In 2018, there were 5,333 fatal work-related accidents, a 2% increase from the previous year. Since 2010, the death rate has been steadily increasing.
