[09-14-2022] A DUI Crash Along Taft Highway Injured Three People, Including a ToddlerThe police have found the driver who they say was drunk and caused a crash that hurt several people, including a toddler, in a house at the corner of Old River Road and Taft Highway.

Around 12:30 a.m., the crash happened at the house at Old River Road and Taft Highway.

Authorities also found out who died in the reckless DUI crash: Princedeep J., age 25, his wife Rajwinder J., age 25, his father Balwinder J., age 61, and 21-month-old Rohundeep J., who were all inside when the ceiling fell on them.

The child and two others are said to have broken bones. The child had a broken skull, a broken left arm, and broken ribs. The adults, in addition to other injuries, had broken backs.

The driver was found to be a 26-year-old woman named Madison Williams.

According to CHP, three people, including a toddler, were injured after a suspected DUI crash struck their home along Taft Highway on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022.

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the house at Old River Road and Taft Highway.

A 21-month-old baby was seriously hurt in the crash, and the house caught fire.

According to CHP, fire crews from County Fire Station 53 were able to put out the fire, and every house resident could leave.

The 26-year-old driver, Madison W., was charged with felony driving under the influence and booked into the Kern County Jail after suffering only minor injuries in the collision. Williams has a court date on Friday.
