Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics

As a state’s economy grows, the number of car accidents goes up. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 3,304 car accidents killed people in 2010.

Driving a car in California is a very dangerous thing to do. If the drivers had done more, they could have stopped these accidents from happening. More than 94% of accidents happen because of mistakes made by people.

Depending on how bad it is, an injury from a car accident can be very painful or even fatal. Because accidents happen so often, it’s easy for drivers to forget how dangerous driving can be.

Accidents in which three or more cars are involved are called “multi-vehicle accidents.” Six cars can pile up after a head-on collision.

A new report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that more than 13,000 people died in accidents involving more than one car in 2010.

San Bernardino County Car Accident Lawyers

In an accident with two cars, it is much easier to go after both drivers. Accidents with more than one car are harder to fix.

It is harder to find the person or people responsible. Several people might have been hurt if two or more cars had crashed.

You might not want to trust an insurance company if it’s hard to tell who was at fault in a crash with more than one car. Please don’t count on an insurance company to handle your claim quickly because they care more about their finances than their customers.
