[09-19-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Injured in Pursuit Crash in Florence

Several vehicles were damaged, and three people were hurt after a police chase ended in a collision on Monday afternoon, September 19.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at 4:51 p.m. in the Florence neighborhood of South Los Angeles, close to the intersection of 79th and Main streets.

According to the police, the vehicle collided with several other vehicles when the police started pursuing the car.

According to a news report video, debris from numerous damaged vehicles could be seen.

At least one ambulance was called to the scene to transport a man in his 30s to the hospital. It is unclear whether the injured man was a bystander or the pursued driver.

The extent of the injuries suffered by the other two victims of the collision is not yet known.

The LAPD added that no police officers were involved in the collision.
