[09-21-2022] Sacramento County, CA – Female Fatally Died After Pedestrian Collision in Arden Arcade

According to the CHP, a female pedestrian died after a fatal collision involving two vehicles in Arden Arcade on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

The accident happened at around 11:20 p.m. just south of Auburn Boulevard, near Watt Avenue and Edison Avenue.

According to Officer Justin Fetterly, a CHP North Sacramento Area Office representative, the two vehicles struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.

The woman’s wounds caused her death. After notifying her family, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will disclose her name.

According to Fetterly, officers located the drivers involved in the fatal collision. He claimed there were no arrests and that both drivers were cooperating with the authorities.

Investigators do not think drugs or alcohol were a factor in the fatal collision.

Fetterly refused to comment when asked what the drivers said to the police about why they left the collision scene.
