A multi-vehicle collision resulted in two drivers sustaining minor injuries in Hesperia early Saturday morning, January 28, 2023.
According to reports, the crash transpired around 5:08 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15, about a mile before Bear Valley Road.
Authorities responded to the traffic collision of a driver in a white Mitsubishi Mirage sedan who struck a FedEx tractor-trailer semi, and a blue Subaru car was also involved.
The Mitsubishi sedan broke down in the middle/fast lane. To avoid the Mitsubishi, the blue Subaru drove into the right shoulder ditch, landing upside down.
Rescuers requested at least two ambulances to arrive on the scene. Both drivers of the cars involved suffered minor injuries, and the semi-truck driver was unharmed.
All lanes were closed for about 30 minutes while the Mitsubishi and debris were removed.
Investigations are underway to determine what caused the crash.
