[02-07-2023] San Diego County, CA – Woman Injured After Car Flipped Over in Chula Vista

A woman was injured after being trapped inside a car that flipped over into a wall in Chula Vista on Tuesday morning, February 07, 2023.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the single-vehicle rollover occurred at about 2:20 a.m. along L Street.

Responding firefighters were able to free the woman whose arm was stuck inside the wreckage using the Jaws of Life. She was transported to the hospital after sustaining unspecified injuries.

Her current condition remains unknown.

The male driver was reportedly unharmed and was questioned by the police about his speed prior to the collision.

The authorities were still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
