A woman was injured after a fire damaged a commercial building that housed a day spa in Los Angeles early Friday morning, February 10, 2023.
According to authorities, the accident occurred around 6:35 a.m. at the 1200 block of North Balboa Boulevard.
Firefighters were called to the scene and extinguished the flames in the two-story building in 44 minutes.
As a result, a woman in her 60s was rushed to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Details on the victim’s condition have not been released.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
