What to Do After a Car Accident
A car accident must be reported immediately to the proper authorities. Be honest while answering questions about what transpired, and avoid making any assumptions. The victim may feel obligated to apologize, even though they had nothing to do with the incident. Such actions may be used as grounds for a claim denial by the insurance provider.
