[02-11-2023] Traffic Crash in Rancho Mirage Struck Two Cyclists, Injured One PedestrianA pedestrian and two cyclists were allegedly struck by a vehicle in Rancho Mirage on Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2023.

The collision reportedly occurred around 1:00 p.m. near Wolfson Park, at the intersection of Da Vall and Frank Sinatra.

One of the bicyclists, Deborah R., stated she and her sister-in-law were riding bikes and saw the pedestrian crossing the street when hit by the vehicle before her bicycle was struck.

She jumped off her bike as the car swerved and later saw the pedestrian with blood running down her arm. They weren’t taking part in the Tour de Palm Springs.

Additionally, she added that they witnessed a hit-and-run crash before being struck.

However, authorities later revealed that it was unknown whether they were spectators, participants in the race, or passersby. No crimes and no arrests were made related to the crash.

They were also unaware of any other individuals involved in the collision and are yet to confirm whether or not any witnesses followed the vehicle.
