According to local authorities, the rollover crash occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 101 close to the Dyerville Overlook exit.

The circumstances leading to the event were unclear, but a vehicle traveling north on the highway reportedly overturned and landed on its roof perpendicular to the road, causing a blockage on the southbound lanes.

Two people were reported to be involved in the crash, and an ambulance was initially requested before getting canceled. The extent of possible injuries remains unknown.

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues, including whether speed, alcohol, or drugs played a role.
