More than 14,000 people were injured and 893 people lost their lives in pedestrian accidents in California in 2012. Statistics show that this is the leading cause of pedestrian injuries in California.
What to Do After a Pedestrian Accident
A pedestrian crash needs to be reported to the police right away once it happens. When communicating with authorities or insurance companies, it is essential to be forthright and not make any assumptions. The insurer may decline to pay if they determine the victim was innocent but has since apologized.
