[04-12-2023] One Person Hospitalized After Highway 37 Multi-Vehicle CollisionOne person was sent to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in Sonoma County on Wednesday night, April 12, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. on eastbound Highway 37, near Lakeville Highway, east of Lakeville.

Responders from several agencies, including the Petaluma Fire Department, arrived at the scene where three vehicles–a BMW sedan, GMC Yukon, and a Toyota Camry–reportedly collided for unknown reasons.

One occupant was extricated from the wreckage. The unidentified patient was brought to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office‘s helicopter Henry-1 with minor injuries.

The highway was shut down until around 8:10 p.m. after the crash, which is still under investigation.

No further information was immediately available.
