[04-06-2023] Kern County, CA – 64-Year-Old Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle on L Street in Bakersfield

A 64-year-old female pedestrian identified as Lourdes G. was killed by a vehicle in Bakersfield on Thursday evening, April 6, 2023.

The collision occurred at about 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of L Street, located north of Brundage Lane, as stated by the coroner’s office.

The victim was transported to Kern Medical, where she was pronounced dead at 9:09 p.m.

The driver’s identity has not been made public.

Police officials are still investigating the specific events that led up to the fatal collision.
