A male pedestrian died after being hit by a car near King City on Tuesday night, April 11, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the accident occurred around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Mesa Verde Road and Wild Horse Road.

The investigation is being handled by the CHP-King City, and the identity of the victim has not been released.

CHP Dispatch declined to comment on the incident aside from confirming the death. No one provided any further information.
