[04-17-2023] San Diego County, CA – 76-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Miramar

A 76-year-old woman was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision in the MiramarA 76-year-old woman was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision in the Miramar area of San Diego on Monday morning, April 17, 2023.

The crash was reported just after 6:05 a.m. on Miramar Road, close to the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 805, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Authorities stated that the scene included two vehicles and a truck transporting portable restrooms.

The truck reportedly struck a Subaru and a Toyota Camry, causing them to crash off the road and roll into a ravine.

The 76-year-old female driver of one of the hit vehicles was taken to a hospital to treat a broken pelvis.

According to an online log, the California Highway Patrol issued a traffic alert for northbound Interstate 805 at 6:50 a.m.

The Miramar Road off-ramp was also closed. The traffic alert was lifted around 11 a.m.

The authorities have not yet released any further information.
