A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a DUI hit-and-run vehicle in Fresno County on Tuesday evening, June 6, 2023.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 pm near the intersection of San Joaquin and B streets.
The car involved in the pedestrian accident initially fled the scene but eventually returned. The injured pedestrian was transported to the hospital.
The driver is currently being investigated for potentially driving under the influence.
The investigation is ongoing.
