A 31-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured following a two-vehicle collision along Catalina Boulevard, San Diego, on Tuesday afternoon, June 06, 2023.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:13 p.m. between Catalina Boulevard and Talbot Street.
A 52-year-old woman was driving a Mercedes-Benz northbound on the boulevard. She passed the green light at the intersection and collided with an incoming Harley-Davidson driver who also passed a green light.
The motorcyclist sustained multiple injuries to his lower extremities, while the female driver sustained a fractured wrist.
The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the collision.
