[06-10-2023] Tehama County, CA – 2 People Killed, 1 Injured Following Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision on Highway 99

Two people died, and one was injured after a two-vehicle head-on crash in Tehama County on Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol Red Bluff, the incident occurred on Highway 99, south of Los Molinos, at around 2:55 p.m.

A Ford Ranger was driving into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons when it struck a BMW 428i.

The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the BMW was identified as 67-year-old Celeste Y. The passenger was not identified and was taken to Enloe Medical Center. The Ford driver was identified as 54-year-old James H.

Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this incident.
