A collision with a suspected DUI driver in Visalia left a 45-year-old motorcyclist with a broken leg on Friday evening, June 16, 2023.

According to the Visalia Police Department, the incident occurred in Cameron and West Street around 11:15 p.m.

Officers reported that 27-year-old Vanessa A. made an unsafe left turn into the path of a motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The victim was transported to the nearby medical center for treatment of a broken leg.

There is no information regarding the identity of the victim.

The vehicle’s driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. An investigation is underway.
