[06-18-2023] 2 People Injured After Solo-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Crash in Ocean BeachTwo passengers were injured following a solo-vehicle hit-and-run crash in San Diego on Sunday evening, June 18, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred in an Ocean Beach skate park in the 2900 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard at around 11:45 p.m.

A black SUV was traveling at high speed through an intersection when it turned and struck a rail. This sent it flying into the air and crashing into a wall and some trees in a skate park. The driver fled on foot, leaving behind two injured passengers.

A witness aided the two passengers who sustained minor injuries, consisting of cuts and bruises.

One of the victims said that they were going home from a club.

There was no information regarding the victim’s identities.

The suspect is still at large. Anyone with information about this hit-and-run incident is encouraged to call the authorities.
