[06-14-2023]Tesla Driver Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Semi-Truck in FremontA Tesla driver was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck in Fremont early Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2023.

According to the Fremont Fire Department, the collision occurred around 1:00 p.m. along Interstate-680.

California Highway Patrol reported that the Tesla driver was struck by a semi-truck, causing it to hit a fire truck.

The Tesla driver was taken to a local hospital. There were no other injuries reported.

The disabled fire engine had to be towed off the freeway. It is still unknown if the Tesla was in self-driving mode during the collision.

The authorities have not released further information about the collision.
