[06-22-2023] Possible Injuries Reported as Multiple Vehicles Collided on Highway 58 near General Beale RoadPossible injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision near Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon, June 22, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol provided information about a traffic accident on Highway 58, west of General Beale Road.

A collision took place between a black sedan and a white pickup truck. The white pick-up truck rested in the center divide area, while the black sedan ended up on the roadside.

According to the CHP, additional vehicles involved in the collision included a Hyundai Elantra. They also mentioned that one vehicle was located on the Murray Family Farms property, while another was just west of the eastbound off-ramp.

The current conditions of the drivers and passengers involved are still unknown. As stated by the CHP, ambulances have been dispatched and are on their way.
