[07-04-2023] Stanislaus County, CA – Pedestrian Injured Following Hit-And-Run Collision in Turlock

A pedestrian was injured following a hit-and-run collision in Turlock late Tuesday morning, July 04, 2023.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the collision happened around 11:55 a.m. at Brentwood Apartments, 302 East Hawkeye Avenue.

A woman driving a gray 2013 Mazda3 ran over a pedestrian’s foot and left the scene. The unidentified pedestrian sustained minor injuries.

The Mazda driver also struck a gray 2006 Scion xA afterward. It is currently unknown if someone was injured inside the vehicle.

The suspect was identified as a 36-year-old Denair resident named Jena O., who was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for a hit-and-run charge.
