[07-08-2023] Kern County, CA – Collision Involving Two Jet Skis in Bakersfield Hospitalized Four People

Four people were injured after a collision involving two jet skis in Bakersfield on Saturday evening, July 8, 2023.

The Kern County Fire Department responded to the accident at Lake Webb near the Buena Vista Aquatic Center around 7:30 p.m.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. However, bystanders reportedly helped pull the victims from the water. Four unidentified people were transported to a local hospital sustaining severe to minor injuries.

As the investigation into the crash continues, the local authorities proceeded to caution people about following water-related rules and speed limits.
