The Kern County Fire Department responded to the accident at Lake Webb near the Buena Vista Aquatic Center around 7:30 p.m.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. However, bystanders reportedly helped pull the victims from the water. Four unidentified people were transported to a local hospital sustaining severe to minor injuries.

As the investigation into the crash continues, the local authorities proceeded to caution people about following water-related rules and speed limits.
