[07-16-2023] Man Dies and Another Injured in Solo Crash on Westbound Interstate 580 in LivermoreA man was killed, while another was injured in a solo vehicle crash in Livermore on Sunday evening, July 16, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol said the tragic incident occurred at 5:32 p.m. on westbound Interstate 580.

According to the CHP, the vehicle overturned near the Isabel Avenue offramp. Upon arrival, they discovered a man located behind the car.

Additionally, three individuals were in the car, with at least one injured and walking on the freeway’s right shoulder.

Three lanes of the freeway remained blocked due to the crash.

The identities of the individuals involved in the collision remain unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
