[07-28-2023] Male Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision in East Palo AltoA man believed to be in his 20s was killed after a hit-and-run collision in East Palo Alto on Friday evening, July 28, 2023.

According to the East Palo Alto Police Department, the incident occurred on Kavanaugh Drive and Kirkwood Court, near Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School, around 10:30 p.m.

The exact cause of the crash and the events leading up to it are unknown at this point, pending an investigation.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Until the next of kin is notified, the victim’s identity is being withheld.
