A 55-year-old woman was in critical condition after being struck by a Metrolink train in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, on Friday evening, August 4, 2023.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics promptly attended to the incident on the 2500 block of East Olympic Boulevard, close to the Los Angeles River, around 6:10 p.m.

According to the report, the Metrolink train struck a woman, resulting in critical injuries.

The paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital for further treatment.
