The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics promptly attended to the incident on the 2500 block of East Olympic Boulevard, close to the Los Angeles River, around 6:10 p.m.

According to the report, the Metrolink train struck a woman, resulting in critical injuries.

The paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital for further treatment.
