[08-08-2023] Three People Severely Injured Following Collision Between Two Vehicles on Valley RoadAn 18-year-old driver and his two passengers sustained severe injuries after a head-on collision between two vehicles on Valley Road, San Diego, on Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2023.

The San Diego Police were dispatched to the 16000 block of San Pasqual Valley Road near the San Diego Zoo Safari Park around 4:12 p.m.

According to the report, a 54-year-old man was driving his Dodge Ram eastward when the teenage driver lost control of his Honda Accord and crossed the double yellow lines, resulting in a direct collision.

Following the collision, the driver of the Honda was transported to a medical facility due to multiple femur fractures in both legs.

The injuries sustained by all three occupants of the Honda are classified as life-threatening.

The involvement of alcohol or drugs in the accident is yet to be determined as the investigation continues.
