[08-05-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – One Man Killed, Several Others Injured Following DUI Crash in Stockton

One person was killed, and several others were injured after a two-vehicle collision caused by a DUI driver in Stockton on Saturday evening, August 5, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident along Interstate 5 near March Lane at an unspecified time.

The events that led to the crash are unknown, but the suspected DUI driver killed one man. Several others suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Roman H., age 34, was identified as the killed victim. He was a Mexican national but had family in the United States. No additional information regarding the other victims was disclosed.

Hollis B., vice principal of an elementary school in the Manteca Unified School District, was charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter about the incident.
