[10-20-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – 63-Year-Old Woman Killed Following Hit-And-Run Crash on Manchester AvenueA 63-year-old woman died after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Los Angeles on Friday evening, October 20, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at about 8:00 p.m. on southbound Manchester Avenue at Cimarron Street.

Initial investigation indicated that the woman was crossing an unmarked crosswalk when she was hit by a speeding 2019 silver Kia Optima. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled and continued driving westbound on Manchester. The car was later located in Inglewood, where the driver was taken into custody.
